ABOUT LENNY MONSOU

Born into a family of musicians, Lenny Monsou grew up surrounded by rhythm, melody, and creativity. With a professional home studio just steps away, music wasn’t something distant—it was part of everyday life. His father, a drummer and producer (Time Bandits, Moonflower), and his mother, a singer (Moonflower), laid the foundation early on. Inspired by his older brother Daniel, Lenny started writing his own songs at the age of ten. By twelve, he had already released music on CD and expanded his skills to piano. Singing and songwriting soon became his true focus. At just fifteen, Lenny was accepted as the youngest student ever at the Herman Brood Academy. There, he developed at high speed—refining his voice, songwriting, and production skills. In 2022, he graduated with the highest possible score for Artistic Skills (grade 10).

At nineteen, Lenny Monsou signed with Warner Music Benelux and released his debut single Never Fall In Love in April 2024. His second single Telephone made an immediate impact when a live performance on 3FM earned him the title of 3FM Talent. Later that year, Lenny released his debut EP Idolizer, followed by the Idolizer Tour in spring 2025. His momentum continued with a live national TV broadcast by NTR from Eurosonic Noorderslag, and a nomination for Best Newcomer at the 3FM Awards.

Driven by international ambition, Lenny played The Great Escape festival 2025 in the UK and signed with Free Trade Agency. The summer of 2025 featured major festival shows across the Netherlands, followed by a breakthrough performance at Reeperbahn Festival in Germany. That year also saw Lenny supporting Gavin James on his intimate acoustic tour, appearing as a guest artist with BLØF at the Ahoy Arena, performing at the Popronde Party in Melkweg, and headlining his own Rockstar ALIBI Tour. The year closed on a high note with a performance at the national charity event 3FM Serious Request.

2026 kicks off with new music, ESNS 2026, and Lenny’s first international tour—supporting the Australian band Pierce Brothers across the UK, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
