Writing his own songs since he picked up a guitar at 10 years old, Lenny decided to go for a professional career in music when he was only 15 years old. He changed from high school to a music education at the famous pop rock school Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht, the Netherlands. He graduated at 18 with the highest grade one can possibly get: a 10 for artistic skills.
Drawing inspiration from icons like David Bowie, The 1975, and Harry Styles, Lenny has created his own unique sound that defies genres. With his charismatic performances, powerful vocals and particular talent for songwriting, he blends elements of rock, pop, and electronic music to create something new and exciting
Lenny was the support act for S10 during her tour of various open-air theaters this summer!

ABOUT LENNY MONSOU
Born and raised in a family of musicians, Lenny Monsou got access to a professional home studio at an early age. His father being a drummer and producer and his mother a singer. They were a well known songwriting duo in their younger days in the Netherlands. When his older brother Daniel Monsou picked up the guitar, Lenny soon followed his example and started writing his own songs at the age of 10. When he was 12 he released his first EP. He started playing piano as well. But singing and writing songs became his true passion. Lenny was accepted at the pop/rock school Herman Brood Academy as their youngest student at 15 and developed his producing skills, writing and singing in a killer pace. In 2022 he graduated with the highest score possible for Artistic Skills (grade 10).
Lenny always dreamed of signing with a major record label before his twentieth birthday. And guess what? Still 19 years old, he signed a major deal with Warner Music Benelux. Lenny is considered one of the most talented upcoming young artists to be reckoned with in the music industry. Lenny's debut track "Never Fall In Love" was released april 2024.
